2-Tier Trellis System From Honor the Plant

We offer a 2-Tier Trellis System for our Grow Beds.

Here’s an example.

This Diamond Series Grow Bed is a 20 inch X 20 Inch with each Trellis 10 Inches Tall.

At Honor the Plant we try to help our growers achieve success in the grow room. If you’re purchasing an Honor Grow Bed and would like a 2-Tier Trellis system we’d be happy to help you with that. We make each Trellis system specific for the grower. If you don’t know exactly what you’d like we can help you make a smart purchase decision.

When considering what to use for training and securing your plants in a grow bed, make sure you consider a few things.

  1. How tall are your ceilings? How much room do you have to go vertical?

  2. How many inches do your lights require? How low do your lights hang?

  3. How do you plan to train your plants?

These are just a few basic questions to start calculating how much room you have vertically to grow. Once we start there we can help you decide on your trellis setup and size.

Let’s do an example of how you calculate height for your grow.

Let’s assume you have a tent that is 70 inches tall. Now let’s say your light hangs down 8 Inches at a minimum height. And let’s say your light needs 18 inches from the light to the tops of the flowing plants. You take 70 Inches - 8 inches - 18 Inches. So you now have a 44 inch maximum height for the tops of your plants.

Let’s say you’re using our small 20 Inch X 20 Inch X 12 Inch Grow Bed. That means your plants will be starting at a height of around 10 inches above ground (assuming you leave 2 inches of room). So you have 34 inches vertically to grow your plants. Once we have this information we can help you create the right setup for your grow room.

If this is confusing or you need help figuring this out, please reach out to us. We love helping our growers achieve greatness in the grow room.
